Danny Boyle's Music-Themed Comedy With Lily James and Kate McKinnon Nabs Release Date

As far back as 2010, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, above) talked about his desire to make a full-fledged, original musical. In 2016, he was touted to direct a film version of the popular stage musical Miss Saigon, though that didn’t work out.
